Meet our team!
Validus is made up of a small team who are able to offer experienced specialist advice to clients.
Both Chris and Melissa are qualified Chartered Surveyors and Registered Valuers having a combined 40 years of property professional experience between them. From Jan 2025 we are pleased to include Jonah Armstrong within our surveying team, who will be joining Chris in our St Asaph office whilst he works towards his full MRICS membership.
Karen, our Office Manager, has been working within property administration for the past 10 years and has valuable knowledge and skill to bring all aspects of the job together. Helen is our newest administration team member, having previously worked in the Legal Profession bringing a wealth of knowledge with her and is ready to assist with your property needs.

Our History
Founded in 2012 by our Managing Director, Chris Armstrong, Validus are independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and Registered Valuers covering North Wales, The Wirral, Cheshire and more recently North Shropshire (office opened in 2023).
The team pride themselves in offering a common sense approach to advice and surveying and helping both new and returning clients with their property needs.
Offices and Areas we Cover
Our Head Office is located in St Asaph and headed by Chris where we are able to cover the entire North Wales coast line and the valleys inland.
We have an office on the Wirral, where our Office Manager Karen is based, coordinating all the appointments and ensuring everything is running like clockwork. From here we are able to cover the peninsula and North Cheshire, including the city of Chester.
Our newest addition as of 2023 is an office located in the most northern town in North Shropshire, Whitchurch, which is headed by Melissa covering North Shropshire, Cheshire and Wrexham.
